Sculpting Feet Technique

So I’ve been working on another sculpture and as it came

time to sculpt the feet, I sculpted them, and when finished saw that they don’t look appealing at all, nor proportionate ….

So ! I thought of what was wrong with that foot and it stuck out. The toes were all the same length so in realizing that I mad a cut starting from were the pinkie toe should be and cutting towards were the big toe should be, as illustrated,

which I think it will turn out much more favorable results as we will see when I post images of the finished second foot.
